Sown Seeds

The Thomas horse drawn seed drill. Back in 1874, John Thomas and his two sons formed Thomas MFG Company in Springfield OH, developing and manufacturing agricultural tools including hay rakes, grain drills, disc harrows and seeders. In the early 1900’s the company along with several other farm equipment businesses merged to become American Seeding and later in 1929, Oliver Farm Equipment.
